Washington County Fair Parade!
TUESDAY, APRIL 13 – 5:00 pm
Line up no later than 5 pm – Parade starts at 6 pm
Meet near 200 North 300 East

Just show up and be in our entry!
You are invited to walk or ride with our DSUHC group.
We will have trailers for you to sit on. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR for the trailer. Bring a blanket for the kids to sit if they prefer to ride instead of walk.
You can join us by:
- Walking or Riding
- Drive your own shiny classic car
- Drive your own truck with your kids in the back
- Drive your Side-by-side, Razor or ATV
- Ride your horse!
- Put your kids in strollers or wagons too!
We are inviting all ages to join us as we join together to protest the name change at Dixie State University! The name change is not a done deal!
Parade route: Starts near Washington Community Center, onto Telegraph, turns west to Main Street, ends near the park where there will be some fun things for the kids to kick off the Fair.
We hope we will enjoy nice weather for this event. For those who want to walk, it’s a short parade route.
You may want to bring a bottle of water.
Bring a sign to hold or use one of ours. We want all signs to be upbeat and respectful to support keeping Dixie!
DIXIE FLAGS: If you already have one of our DIXIE FLAGS, please bring it with you for the parade.
We will have some 3×5 DIXIE flags for purchase at the parade, $10 each, includes 5’ pole.
American flags are also welcome.
RED “KEEP DIXIE” SHIRTS: If you have a Dixie shirt, please wear it or wear red if possible. We will have more free, Keep Dixie shirts to give to those in our parade entry on April 13, first come, first serve. We appreciate those who have donated to our DSUHC.ORG group to provide free shirts and help us in other ways.
Parking is limited near the parade line-up, arrive early for a good spot.
